Responsibilities for Speech Therapists: Provide professional assessments, consultation, and therapy services to patients. Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized treatment plans to meet their rehabilitation goals. Deliver evidence-based interventions in accordance with established clinical protocols and best practices. Collaborate with patients and caregivers to discuss therapy goals, progress, and ongoing care plans. Provide guidance, training, and supervision to Therapy Assistants to ensure high standards of patient care. Support the coordination of staff scheduling and caseload allocation to ensure efficient service delivery. Qualifications for Speech Therapists: Recognized Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech and Language Therapy. Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) is required. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Speech Therapist. Prior experience in a community hospital or rehabilitation setting is an advantage. Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
