About this role

Summary The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing productivity. This role analyzes processes, identifies improvement opportunities, and works with different teams to enhance supply chain performance while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and focused on delivering practical solutions. Key Responsibilities Process Improvement Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, quality, and safety. Monitor and review key performance indicators (KPIs). Cost Reduction Analyze production costs, material usage, and waste. Implement initiatives to reduce operational costs. Track and evaluate the results of cost-saving projects. Supply Chain Optimization Collaborate with internal teams to improve material flow, inventory management, and shipping processes. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Implement solutions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Ergonomics & Workplace Safety Review work processes to identify ergonomic risks. Implement improvements to enhance employee safety and comfort. Provide guidance on proper lifting techniques and workstation setup. Project Management Lead or support projects related to process improvements, equipment upgrades, or technology implementation. Develop project timelines and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure successful execution. Quality & Compliance Ensure compliance with quality standards, including ISO requirements. Identify potential safety risks and implement preventive measures. Develop and maintain workplace safety procedures. Others Ensure procurement activities comply with RBA and ISO 9001 procedures. Understand QMS requirements, including documentation and process interaction. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or Head of Department. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis tools . Understanding of cost analysis, material flow, and inventory management . Familiar with health, safety, ergonomic, and ISO 9001 standards .
