Regional Management Accountant (Logistics / East) [El]

Review monthly management reporting packs at regional level to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission to headquarters. Identify and rectify reporting discrepancies, while coordinating with country finance teams to resolve outstanding issues. Perform analytical review of costs, expenses, and financial trends to assess reasonableness and highlight variances. Raise queries and follow up with respective countries on abnormal transactions or balances. Review balance sheet movements and monitor potential financial and operational risk exposures. Ensure accuracy of financial disclosures including related party transactions, cash balances, banking facilities, and loan positions. Ensure compliance with headquarters finance policies, accounting standards, and internal procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives for finance systems, processes, and internal controls. Conduct clarification sessions and knowledge-sharing discussions with finance teams to address recurring issues. Document meeting discussions, action items, and accountability ownership for proper follow-up. Monitor corrective actions to ensure issues are resolved and do not recur. Support cash flow monitoring and expenditure control initiatives. Ensure compliance with corporate governance, internal control requirements, and audit standards. Participate in control self-assessment and internal audit activities. Perform periodic review of fixed asset registers and validate depreciation accuracy.
