About this role

Position Summary: Weidmuller is seeking a dynamic and results-driven candidate to expand our footprint in the following industry/segments: Factory Automation (FA) Energy Segment – Switchgears / Substations projects Building Management System (BMS) – local consultants, contractors / system integrators and panel builders The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and promoting Weidmuller’s solutions — including connectivity, automation, and Industrial IoT products — to OEMs, panel builders, system integrators, and end-users. Key Responsibilities: Market Development- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the related industries Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Customer Engagement- Build and maintain relationships with panel builders, system integrators, and consultants. Conduct technical presentations to promote Weidmuller solutions. Provide pre-sales and application support, coordinating with technical teams as needed. Sales Strategy Execution- Develop and execute account development plans aligned with regional growth objectives. Work closely with the distributors / Partners to drive indirect sales. Monitor and report sales pipeline activity against targets. Product & Solution Promotion- Actively promote Weidmuller’s automation and connectivity portfolio, including terminal blocks, relays, power supplies, Industrial Ethernet, signal conditioners, and cabinet solutions. Collaborate with product management to position new solutions effectively in the market. Cross-functional Collaboration- Work with internal departments (eg. marketing, product management, customer service) to ensure alignment of strategies and execution. Provide customer feedback to influence product development and improvements.
