As we continue to expand our presence in Singapore and the Southeast Asian market, we are looking for a motivated and adaptable Business Development professional to strengthen our commercial team and build long-term partnerships with healthcare stakeholders. Position Summary The Business Development Executive/Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth across Singapore. The ideal candidate has experience in the medical devices or healthcare industry, is comfortable working in a multicultural environment, and can effectively bridge communication between our Singapore office and Chinese headquarters. Key Responsibilities Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the healthcare and medical device sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, distributors, healthcare providers, and key decision-makers. Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and market expansion targets. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities. Prepare business proposals, presentations, quotations, and contract negotiations. Coordinate closely with internal teams in Singapore and China to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer records, and business reports. Support product launches and marketing initiatives in the Singapore market. Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and company policies. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline. Minimum 2–5 years of business development, sales, or account management experience in the medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related industry. Strong understanding of the Singapore healthcare landscape and business environment. Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written), as the role requires collaboration with Mandarin-speaking colleagues, partners, and headquarters. Good understanding of both Singaporean and Chinese business culture, communication styles, and working practices. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Highly adaptable, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving business environment. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CRM systems is an advantage. Willingness to travel when required. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with medical devices, healthcare equipment, diagnostics, or hospital procurement. Existing network within Singapore's healthcare industry is an advantage. Experience working with regional or multinational organizations, particularly those with cross-border collaboration between Singapore and China.
