Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities and Duties : Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, machinery, and operating systems, identifying and correcting issues as needed. Maintain high standards in mechanical operations, ensuring systems meet operational and safety requirements. Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and other related equipment. Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to junior technicians when necessary. Perform both independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of tasks. Adhere strictly to company safety guidelines, procedures, and industry standards. Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machinery as per established protocols. Technical Skills : Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment for daily tasks. Perform welding using cutting torches as needed for repairs and maintenance. Operate and maintain heavy industrial equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, basket trucks, and bobcats. Compliance and Reporting : Ensure compliance with both company and customer regulations, as well as policies. Maintain and manage personal tools, including keeping an up-to-date, documented personal tool inventory. Accurately manage time records and complete work orders in a timely manner. Foster positive relationships with both customers and team members through effective communication and professionalism.
