Laser Application Engineer

Role Summary: We are looking for a hands-on and motivated Laser Application Engineer to support the setup, operation, troubleshooting, and application testing of laser depaneling machines. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in machinery and automation are welcome to apply, as training will be provided. Responsibilities: Install, align, and configure laser depaneling machines based on operational and customer requirements Perform machine calibration, software setup, and system testing to ensure optimal performance Conduct troubleshooting and technical support for laser systems and automation equipment Perform inspection and health checks on laser units and coordinate with vendors on technical issues Support laser cutting trials, process studies, and sample measurements for application testing Provide customer training, machine demonstrations, and technical guidance on machine operations Work closely with internal engineering teams and external vendors to develop customised automation solutions Maintain proper documentation and records of laser and optical components installed Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related discipline Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in automation industry and working automation machine Strong knowledge of laser machines; experience in optics and laser systems is preferred Possession of laser licence. Good communication and interpersonal skills Willing to travel overseas occasionally when required Working location: North Please include the following information in your resume.
