Scope: 1. Contract Management a. Legal compliance i. Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) - Introduction and exposure to Adjudication, Arbitration and Contract negotiations. ii. Extension of Time (EOT) - Review contractual implications - Differentiate EOT and liquidated damages (LD), assess considerations and resolutions. iii. Collaborative Contracting - Introduction to collaborative contracting processes. b. Contract Agreement (Main Contract/Sub Contract) - Ensure contract terms are reviewed and understood - Verify all necessary approvals are obtained - Maintain records of communication and modifications - Safe keep of contract agreement in Google shared drive and eCabinet. 2. Project Costing a. Software application i. PDF X-change Editor - For manual quantity take-off and check. ii. Glodon Internation (TMEC/TBQ) iii. Autodesk Revit/CAD b. Procurement i. Assist in procurement process and regular review for efficiency. ii. Sourcing of Subcontractors/Suppliers for services/products iii. Negotiation iv. Price Analysis c. Budgeting and Control i. Project cost assessment ii. Variation Order (VO) cost (Budgeted / Non-Budgeted) - Process of managing variation orders - VO cost assessment 3. Project Closure a. Payment Certification i. Security of Payment Act (SOPA) ii. PSSCOC/SIA b. Variation Order (VO) i. Preparation / Submission of VO ii. Assessment / Evaluation of VO - Manage addition and omissions, instruction, changes in quantity/design/requirements. - Assess and evaluate subcontractor VO - Application of appropriate SOR - Negotiation c. Final Accounts i. Defects Liability Period (DLP) - Ensure contract responsibilities and due diligence are well delivered. ii. VO finalization - Conclude VO and negotiation to close. iii. Back Charges 4. Meetings & Stakeholder Communication a. Attend project and cost-related meetings. b. Actively engage with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve contract and cost issues promptly and professionally. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering , Sustainable Infrastructure in Building Services, Quantity Surveying or equivalent / Experience in MEP / HVAC / ACMV is added advantage Experience in Data Analysis concepts is added advantage Knowledge in modern digital solutions like modelling take off software, RPA, advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills, utilising AI / ML are added advantage.
