About this role

Role & Responsibilities Survey Leadership & Operations: Lead a team of surveyors, planning and coordinating daily surveying tasks, schedules, and operations. Lead and manage a full-time site survey team to conduct topographic, GPS, and control surveying. Authority Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the LTA survey team and Registered Surveyors to coordinate site boundaries, control points, and land titles. Tunnel Control & Alignment: Establish and maintain precise control points, alignment, and benchmarks for tunnel excavation. Monitoring & Safety: Monitor tunnel deformation, settlement, and convergence using specialized equipment, and ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety procedures Pre-computation & Verification: Verify accuracy of pre-computation plans before setting out and ensure all build-ups follow approved construction drawings. Data Analysis & Reporting: Process survey data, update, and prepare as-built drawings, cross-sections, and reports. Quality Control: Perform periodic site inspections to ensure all measurements are within LTA's stringent tolerances. Instrumentation: Manage and maintain specialist technical equipment, including Total Stations and leveling instruments. Documentation: Endorse shop drawings and as-built survey records for submission to authorities. Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with project managers, clients, and DBC Land & Survey department. Adherence to safety in workplace Skills & Requirements SISV Membership (Mandatory): Must be a Technical Member (TechMem SISV) or higher with the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers. Education: A Diploma in Land Surveying (e.g., from BCA Academy) or a recognized Degree in Geomatics/Civil Engineering. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of postgraduate experience, specifically on LTA/MRT or large-scale civil engineering projects in Singapore. High proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D BIM applications. Working knowledge of STAR*NET software. Experience with Lidar/Laser scanning or point cloud data is increasingly preferred for modern LTA rail/road projects.
