About this role
The Junior Quantity Surveyor reports to ContractsManager and assists in all cost and contractual reports on Maincontract as well as Sub-contracts connected to the project. A summary of the scope of works for this position is, andnot limited to, as follows: Preparation of Monthly Consumption reports for Client Preparation of Manpower Report for BCA Receiving and sorting out of Delivery orders from the site storeman on site items. Assisting PQS to do cost coding by preparing relevant information. Ad-hoc duties such as filing, photocopying and scanning of documents. Preparation of worker allocation labour report for PQS's review. Data entry for concrete, rebar and other supplier's claims to the payment spreadsheet. Monthly material counting on site for material reconciliation and wastage reports. Updating of Supplier's DO and Inter-site DO. Adherence to safety practices in the workplace Skills and Requirements Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building or Civil Engineering. Minimum 1 year working experience in estimating and measurement.
