The Opportunity: The Demand Planner is responsible for developing and implementing demand forecasting, inventory planning, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive optimal service levels, inventory health, and cost efficiency. The role leverages the supply and order delivery process to balance service, cash, and costs in the designated countries. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Demand Forecasting: Collect, analyze, and align demand forecasts with commercial teams and distributors. Measure forecast accuracy and identify potential risks. Provie regular updates to suppliers and factories to drive effective supply planning and minimize inventory risks. Inventory Planning and Strategy: Manage MRP types and stock profiles for various countries/regions, ensuring accurate monitoring in ERP systems. Contribute to product business strategy through inventory planning expertise, driving continuous improvement and optimization. Lead annual product phase-out reviews and coordinate inventory depletion plans. Educate and promote planning processes to cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment and best practices. Demand and Supply Management: Lead monthly S&OP meetings and demand and supply reviews with commercial teams, factories, and suppliers to align forecasts, develop supply plans, and highlight gaps Ensue timely purchase orders and optimized logistics planning to drive smooth supply, healthy inventory levels, and cost control. Balance demand and supply through S&OP process, leveraging service level, inventory, cash control, and operational cost optimization. Identify and mitigate business risks, proposing plans for inventory, allocation, rebalancing and management of slow-moving, excess, and obsolete stock. Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain key reports and analyses to track performance and achieve KPIs. Educate stakeholders on findings and insights, ensuring informed decision-making. Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of planning experience, preferably in demand planning and supply planning. Familiarity with ERP or SAP systems is a plus.
