About this role

About WWF-Singapore WWF-Singapore is part of the global WWF network, one of the world’s largest and most respected independent conservation organisations. Our mission is to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. As Singapore strengthens its leadership in sustainability, WWF-Singapore plays a critical role in advancing credible, science-based narratives and partnerships that address climate change, biodiversity loss, and systemic environmental challenges. Overview WWF-Singapore is looking for a hands-on Head of People and Culture to lead the full HR agenda for a purpose-driven organisation committed to building a future in which people live in harmony with nature. Reporting to the CEO, this role will shape and deliver practical people strategies that strengthen culture, capability and organisational effectiveness across a lean and mission-led team. This role requires a people leader who is comfortable building teams, improving processes, partnering closely with leaders and staying close to the day-to-day realities of the organisation. What the role will do Lead the end-to-end HR function across recruitment, onboarding, performance, learning and development, employee relations, rewards, HR operations and policy. Build and strengthen people processes, systems and practices that are fit for purpose in an organisation of this scale. Partner the CEO and leadership team on organisation design, team effectiveness, succession planning and culture. Support leaders and managers on people issues in a practical, responsive and solutions-oriented way. Build trust across the organisation and engage confidently with staff, senior leaders and relevant board stakeholders. Use sound judgment, good prioritisation and a hands-on approach to move multiple priorities forward at pace. Who this role suits HR leaders with broad generalist depth who enjoy being close to the work, not just setting direction. Individuals who are practical, grounded and willing to roll up their sleeves in a lean team environment. Strong communicators who can engage credibly with employees at all levels and build effective relationships across a diverse stakeholder group. Professionals who are organised, resilient and able to manage competing demands without losing sight of quality or culture. Candidates motivated by purpose, values and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution beyond pure commercial reward. Why join WWF-Singapore WWF Singapore offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to environmental conservation while leading the people agenda of one of the world's most respected conservation organisations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping organisational culture, strengthening leadership capability and enabling WWF Singapore to deliver lasting impact for nature and society.
