Investment Research Analyst

We are seeking a results-driven Investment Research Analyst to join our proprietary trading and investment team. The successful candidate will conduct in-depth industry research, monitor global macroeconomic developments, and evaluate early-stage venture pipelines, Web3projects, and industrial sector investments. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent textual analysis and professional writing skills, and the ability to translate complex macroeconomic data into actionable investment intelligence to drive strategic capital deployment and portfolio value creation. Key Responsibilities · Conduct in-depth industry research, macroeconomic trend analysis, and evaluate early-stage project pipelines—including Web3 and digital assets—to identify high-alpha investment opportunities. · Leverage advanced research methodologies to analyze corporate disclosures, regulatory policies, competitive moats, and sector trends. · Author and meticulously edit comprehensive research reports, investment memos, and competitive landscape analyses to guide internal investment strategies. · Perform financial modeling, valuation, and rigorous qualitative due diligence for prospective investment targets and high-potential opportunities. · Monitor macroeconomic indicators and policy shifts, assessing their potential impact on existing portfolios, future acquisitions, and cross-border capital flows. · Build and maintain proprietary research databases tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) of target companies, competitors, and market monitoring dashboards. · Translate raw macroeconomic and industry data into actionable intelligence and present research findings to senior management and the trading team. · Streamline daily operational workflows and monitor post-investment value creation metrics for portfolio companies. Requirements · Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Communications, Chinese Language and Literature, or a related discipline demonstrating strong analytical and professional writing capabilities. · At least 4 years of experience spanning investment research, early-stage venture evaluations, asset management, or industrial sector investments. · Must have relevant experience in Web3, digital assets, blockchain, cryptocurrency markets, or related financial technology sectors. · Demonstrated expertise in conducting rigorous market due diligence, qualitative analysis, and scouting high-alpha opportunities. · Strong understanding of macroeconomics, monetary policy, industrial sectors, and global financial markets. · Demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive investment research reports, market commentaries, and investment memoranda for senior management. · Strong analytical, critical thinking, textual analysis, and report-writing skills with excellent attentionto detail. · Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Database Management, and financial research platforms such as Wind Financial Terminal. · Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin. Mandarin proficiency is required to review Chinese-language corporate disclosures, policy announcements, financial news, and communicate with business partners.
