THE ROLE: The position is responsible for the development and delivery of customer-facing facilities services across our APAC portfolio. The Sr Facilities Manager will develop policies, procedures, preventative maintenance programs, and will monitor onsite performance of programs in-order to deliver optimized workplace environments, infrastructure, site operations, and office services. This position is expected to have a working knowledge of applicable codes, laws and regulations pertaining to the operation of a multi-site campus. Building and system design reviews and construction supervision are also required. THE PERSON: Customer service oriented with demonstrated focus on improving client experience and developing relationships with stakeholders across the region. Foundational knowledge of building infrastructure systems and associated equipment, energy and sustainability, and EHS programs and systems. Design, estimation and bidding practices, and construction management experience. Demonstratable experience with computerized preventative maintenance and building control software programs. Self-starter with the ability to make sound management and technical decisions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and manage annual capital and operating budgets for the APAC portfolio. Provide detailed variance reporting against plan with recommendations to minimize impacts of unfavourability. Technical/design oversight experience of mechanical/electrical infrastructure projects in a semiconductor R&D environment Ability to quickly define project scopes, develop schedules and prepare budgets with minimal stakeholder information. Facilitate consultant interactions with stakeholders to develop comprehensive project requirements. Deliver quality, safe, compliant, cost-effective workplace environments, site operations and services by planning, scheduling, and directing contractors in the performance of building operations, infrastructure maintenance, janitorial, grounds, food service and fitness centers. Champion continuous improvement in all aspects of service delivery. Will act as first point of contact with Landlords on issues that arise and act as lead for planning facilities work requiring Landlord notification and involvement. Act as single point of contact for AMD Global Real Estate (GRE) services with Client groups. Partner with AMD Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) to ensure compliance with policies and all applicable jurisdictional regulations and codes. Act as AMD GRE point of contact for region’s business continuity and crisis management response efforts. Build relationships with local, regional, and state governments for site and community relations. Develop, implement, and maintain facility asset lifecycle plans and capital improvement project plans that will ensure ongoing positive experience for customers and minimal disruption to the business. Support AMDs goals towards GHG reductions by championing initiatives and projects to reduce regions GHG footprint Monitor service providers and contractors’ deliverables in accordance with contract specifications to ensure satisfactory delivery of scope of services. Assist, or manage as appropriate, rent reviews and lease renewals. Act as point of contact for GRE contract negotiations. Willingness to travel up to 25% of time. Provide 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance as required. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience in facilities management with responsibility for multiple sites across a regional portfolio, preferably within APAC. Experience managing both facilities operations and capital projects, including workplace services, infrastructure improvements, renovations, and office expansions. Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, technology, or similar corporate environments supporting engineering, R&D, or office operations. Proven ability to manage budgets, vendors, contractors, consultants, and landlords while ensuring high-quality service delivery. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging business leaders, senior executives, and cross-functional partners across different countries and cultures. ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Business. Facility Management certificate a plus.
