Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities: Liaise with the construction team to prepare documents for Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Open Tender. Source potential tenderers/subcontractors and send out invitations for RFQs. Assist on management of materials and equipment at the construction site. Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and construction team during RFQ stage. Coordinate post-tender interviews between tenderers, construction team, QS team and contracts team. Assist QS manager and contracts manager with quantity surveying matters relevant to Sub-Contract, Works Order and Purchase Order. Assist contracts team in administration of subcontracts. Handle payment requests received from subcontractors and suppliers. Responsible for quantity calculation of construction drawings, preliminary material research and market survey. Assist to evaluate and process vendor claims as needed. Any other adhoc tasks assigned by QS Manager / Contracts Manager. Job Requirements: Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field of studies. At least 3 years of experience, preferably in Quantity Surveying. Marine Project is prefered. Willing to work at West Region, especially Tuas area. Able to work under pressure and work under minimal supervision.
