Job Description (Assistant QA Manager) Manage, supervise and operate functions of IQC, IPQC and OQC functions and safeguard the effective implementation of the Quality Management System in the Organization. To understand, disseminate and implement customer specific requirements and special characteristics Liaise with customers & suppliers on quality issues including customer audits. Preparation of quality plans, work instructions and standards pertaining to product inspections. Analyze and recommend corrective and/ preventive actions when customer complaint is received, and as and when required. Review quality data to identify potential causes of non-conformance and recommending corrective and/ preventive action. Verify effectiveness of the corrective and / preventive actions. Monitor quality objectives related to department. Preparation of quality reports and monitoring of quality objectives. Manage and co-ordinate the measurement and monitoring of equipment. Identify training needs and preparation of training plans for department. Support and promulgate quality policy amongst employees. Ensure environmental operational controls and work instructions related to quality are implemented in the area[s] under his / her control. Perform aspect, risks and opportunity [for both environmental and quality] analysis for his / her department and ensure that information is up to date Quality Management Representative Ensure that the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 QMS and the quality policy are understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of staff. Custodian of Quality Manuals and ensuring its effective implementation of the Quality Management Systems. Report the performance of the Quality Management Systems to the top management Recommend improvement needed for the Quality Management Systems and products in order to ensure that customer requirements are met. Promulgate and implement new quality procedures as and when necessary to improve on the Quality Management Systems Promote awareness of customer requirements and important of meeting the QMS requirements throughout the organization Appoint Internal Auditors, plan internal quality audits and scheduled management review Represent the Organization in all matters related to the Quality Management Systems. Maintain official records and documents according to the needs of the Quality Management Systems Liaison with certification body and consultants on issues related to the Quality Management Systems Requirements Diploma in any Science or Engineering discipline with at least 2 years of managerial experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in quality control of plastic and rubber molding industry Familiar with software related to Statistical Process Control Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and knowledge of GD & T. Proficient with Microsoft Office - Excel, Words and PowerPoint. Able to use contact or non-contact measuring equipment Profound knowledge in quality tools such as FMEA, GR & R, DOE, Control Chart and Quality Costing. Strong leadership, communicative and receptive Discreet and analytical in problem solving presenting in 8D format Practical knowledge in ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 Able to perform and report internal audits Able derive root cause[s] for system nonconformity with depth and recommend corrective action[s]
