Assistant / Technical Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities Modification and improvement of existing products Development of new products Performing laboratory testing and characterization of products Support commercial team in technical analysis of customer specification and drive internal discussion specification review process. Support Operations and Quality teams in resolving technical problem and cost-down projects Liaise with suppliers to source for new raw materials and additives Lab management – keeping lab clean and safe, maintenance of lab equipment, ability to handle heavy loads, including disposal of chemical waste Customer interactions may be required at times Testing & Analysis: Conduct product testing, quality checks, and support trial evaluations; accurately record and report results. Technical Support: Assist in troubleshooting, process improvements, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions. Product Development: Support R&D activities including sample preparation, lab-scale testing, and new product trials. Compliance & Maintenance: Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and proper maintenance of lab equipment and documentation. Any other duties assigned from time to time. Job Requirements Candidate must possess at least Specialist Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent, majoring chemical, chemistry, materials (particularly polymer) or related. Experience (including internship) in formulation and/or coating of emulsions, hotmelts and UV curable are highly welcomed. 0-3 years of working experience. Proficient in both spoken and written English and at least able to speak Chinese (Mandarin)
