Process Utility Engineer (UPW / Drain / Chemical System) Position Information Industry: Construction / Engineering (Semiconductor Plant Project) Work Location: Woodlands (Project Site) Work Hours: 5.5 Days per week (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) Salary Range: SGD 3,500 – SGD 5,200 (Depending on experience) Job Summary We are an established engineering firm specializing in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installation and process piping for major semiconductor plant projects (e.g., Micron, TSMC-style facilities). We are seeking a highly motivated Process Utility Engineer to join our Woodlands project team, focusing on Ultra Pure Water (UPW), Process Drain, and Chemical delivery systems within the cleanroom environment. Candidates with relevant experience in semiconductor water and chemical systems will be highly prioritized. However, if you come from a general Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background and are eager to transition into the semiconductor sector, we welcome your application. Our experienced Project Manager will provide direct guidance, training, and mentorship to help you onboard quickly. Key Responsibilities Site Supervision & Execution: Oversee the daily on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of UPW, Process Drain, and Chemical piping systems within the cleanroom, ensuring work complies with strict semiconductor standards. Technical Coordination & Mentorship: Work closely under the guidance of the Project Manager to review shop drawings, resolve on-site piping route clashes, and learn advanced semiconductor process utility engineering. Material & Quality Management: Assist in preparing material take-offs (MTO) for specialized piping (e.g., PVDF, PP, PVC, Stainless Steel) and inspect installation quality to ensure zero leakage and high purity. Cleanroom Protocol Adherence: Ensure all installation works and onsite workers strictly adhere to the project's cleanroom housekeeping, safety, and contamination control protocols. Progress Documentation: Maintain accurate site logs, coordinate weekly progress updates, and assist the Project Manager in preparing hand-over documentation for clients. Requirements Experience & Background: Prior experience in semiconductor cleanroom projects, specifically handling UPW, Drain, or Chemical systems, is highly preferred. Candidates with a general Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) or piping background who possess a strong learning attitude are also welcome to apply. Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in reading M&E shop drawings, isometric drawings, or piping schematics. Familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage. Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline. Key Attributes: High sense of responsibility, detail-oriented (critical for high-purity piping), proactive in learning, and capable of working effectively in a dynamic site environment.
