Deliver and provide lifecycle support for Advanced Process Control (APC) solutions for industrial process plants. Understand customer process requirements and develop APC applications using model-based and multivariable control technologies. Execute project planning, application engineering, control strategy development, configuration, testing, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), commissioning, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization. Collaborate with project managers, process engineers, DCS engineers, and customers to improve plant stability, throughput, energy efficiency, product quality, and overall operational performance. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Control, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in process control, automation, or process optimization within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Process Industries. Candidates with fewer years of relevant experience may also be considered. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and OPC. Good knowledge of process control principles, including PID control, feedback control, and multivariable control. Experience in Advanced Process Control (APC), process modelling, commissioning, control tuning, troubleshooting, and process optimization is preferred. Proficiency in programming or scripting languages used in industrial automation and process control applications. Keen interest in learning and applying emerging technologies such as Real-Time Optimization (RTO), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and digital solutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
