The job scope and responsibilities are broadly divided into the following key areas: 🛠️ Project & Task Management Planning & Scheduling: Creating realistic timelines and delegating daily repair tasks to maintenance technicians or handymen. Progress Monitoring: Conducting routine site inspections to track project status, ensuring work aligns with the contracted scope and building codes. Resource Allocation: Managing the inventory of tools, equipment, and building materials to prevent delays. Budget Tracking: Assisting in the formulation of maintenance budgets and ensuring compliance throughout the project Team Supervision: Guiding, training, and motivating on-site crews or volunteers. [1, 2] Contractor Management: Hiring and coordinating third-party tradesmen (such as specialized electricians or plumbers) during major installations or complex repairs. [1] Client & Stakeholder Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact to listen to client needs, relay project updates, and resolve complaints. [1, 2, 3] 🧰 Hands-On Technical Support General Maintenance: Directly tackling maintenance and repair projects (e.g., minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall patching, and furniture assembly). Quality Control: Inspecting completed maintenance tasks to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] 🛡️ Safety & Compliance Safety Protocols: Enforcing health and safety policies (such as OSHA or local Occupational Safety and Health requirements). Risk Assessment: Identifying potential hazards on the job site and promptly implementing solutions. 📝 Documentation & Reporting Work Logs: Managing work orders, volunteer paperwork, safety logs, and timesheets. Maintenance Reports: Updating Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and providing detailed outcome reports to management. Class 3 Driving license is a must as you be ferrying the worker to different work sites
