Job Summary Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable enterprise data solutions for government projects. Manage a technical team to deliver robust ETL pipelines and cloud-based data platforms using AWS, ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance. Responsibilities Lead a team of data engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration and ETL solutions for enterprise-level government projects Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and project managers to translate business requirements into effective technical data solutions Oversee the development and optimization of ETL pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and integration Implement and enforce data quality standards and governance policies to maintain data integrity and compliance with government security requirements Support and manage cloud-based data platforms using AWS services including S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, RDS, and IAM Provide technical leadership by conducting code reviews, mentoring team members, and guiding best practices in data engineering Manage project deliverables to ensure timely completion while adhering to security and compliance standards Facilitate stakeholder communication and manage expectations through clear, analytical reporting and problem-solving Required competencies and certifications Minimum 7 years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL development Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, AWS Glue, or DataStage Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and scripting languages such as Python or Shell Working knowledge of AWS cloud services including S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, RDS, and IAM Proven experience leading or mentoring technical teams and managing project deliverables Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience delivering projects for government agencies or public sector clients Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud-based data platform architectures Knowledge of CI/CD practices and Agile methodologies AWS certifications Other Information Work Week: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM – 6:00 PM) Work Arrangement: Full Onsite - Central Region Salary: S$7,500–S$10,000 (with bonuses - varies) Benefits: Annual Leave: 18 days Medical Leave: 14 days Group Medical Insurance Other leave benefits as per MOM guidelines EA 20S0237
