About this role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Logistics Assistant Manager / Logistics Manager to oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient delivery, collection, and transportation activities. The role is responsible for managing fleet operations, coordinating drivers, optimizing routes, maintaining service standards, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee daily logistics and transportation operations. Plan and coordinate delivery and collection schedules to ensure timely service execution. Supervise drivers and logistics personnel, ensuring operational efficiency and productivity. Monitor fleet utilization, vehicle maintenance schedules, and operational readiness. Optimize delivery routes and resource allocation to improve service levels and cost efficiency. Ensure proper handling and transportation of palletised and loose cargo. Maintain accurate operational records, delivery documentation, and performance reports. Investigate and resolve operational issues, delivery discrepancies, and customer concerns. Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support business objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement operational best practices. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, fleet management, or supply chain operations. Proven experience in managing drivers, fleet operations, and logistics teams. Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of Singapore road networks and transportation regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and logistics management systems. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
