What is GetInterviewed?

GetInterviewed offers a free CV check without sign-up. You can build a career profile from a CV, LinkedIn profile or information entered from scratch, then compare your experience with a vacancy and generate targeted materials.

The service explicitly says it does not send your information to employers or recruiters. You choose when to email an application yourself. Its optional Career Journey adds guidance beyond document generation. (GetInterviewed tools, pricing and privacy)

What is ApplyLah?

ApplyLah is built for job seekers across career stages, focused on Singapore and Asia. Its large job database connects discovery and matching with application preparation.

ApplyLah 2.0 finds and ranks roles, tailors materials from your background and supports auto-applying to suitable jobs you approve. Support depends on the employer system, required information and the access enabled for your account. Application records and employer confirmations are tracked separately.

The resume review is public. The broader 2.0 workflow has a waitlist and separate private beta invitations; joining the waitlist does not unlock every feature immediately. Public 2.0 pricing and allowances have not been announced.

Comparison

Free preparation and optional coaching

GetInterviewed lists core tools as free forever with no card required. That list includes CV tailoring, cover letters, PDF and Word downloads, compatibility analysis and tracking. It publishes a tailoring limit of up to 30 an hour, so free access still has stated usage controls.

Career Journey is a separate upgrade, displayed at S$9 monthly or S$39 once for lifetime access. It adds guided coaching and interview voice practice. Compare that purchase with a coaching need. ApplyLah has no announced public 2.0 price or allowance, so a numerical subscription comparison would imply terms that have not been published. Turn a score into a concrete repair

A general CV score helps only if it leads to a useful edit. Start with a target vacancy and identify one poorly evidenced requirement. If a role needs stakeholder coordination, show a real project, your responsibility and the people involved. Reordering that evidence can improve clarity without changing the underlying experience.

GetInterviewed’s public example distinguishes CV-supported information from details a candidate confirms afterwards. Follow that distinction in your own review. A stronger verb cannot justify invented ownership, and a convincing number still needs a real source. ApplyLah’s preparation similarly depends on established candidate facts rather than plausible additions. (GetInterviewed tools, pricing and privacy; ApplyLah 2.0)

Connect preparation with delivery

With GetInterviewed, bring an ad, review the compatibility analysis, tailor the CV and export the result. Then follow the employer’s instructions yourself. Its privacy explanation matters to this choice: the provider says candidate information goes to an employer only when the candidate chooses to email an application.

ApplyLah starts further upstream with discovery and ranking, then connects approved roles to tailoring and supported submission. That can reduce handoffs between a job board, writing tool and tracking sheet. You still need to distinguish employer acceptance from an application saved, prepared or attempted locally. When guidance matters more than another rewrite

A career changer may need to decide which roles are credible before optimising another document. Career Journey is positioned around direction and improvement from application results. That is a different need from completing repetitive employer forms. Decide which obstacle is slowing you down before choosing a paid feature.

For someone with a clear target and a growing list of suitable vacancies, ApplyLah’s connected workflow may be more relevant. For someone approaching a handful of employers selectively, free documents and self-managed sending may already be enough. The right choice can change as a search moves from exploring options to executing a settled plan. (GetInterviewed tools, pricing and privacy; ApplyLah 2.0)

A career changer preparing a credible application

Illustrative Singapore scenario, not a product test or hiring outcome. A hospitality supervisor is applying for customer-success work and needs to explain transferable experience accurately.

This is an illustrative decision exercise, not a live search, a product test or an application result.

  1. Bring the real ad Compare requirements with genuine examples of escalation handling, communication and coordination. Do not rename hospitality experience as software account ownership.
  2. Review the changes Use GetInterviewed to prepare a targeted CV and letter. Confirm only details you can defend, then export the reviewed version and follow the employer’s requested channel.
  3. Connect the next stage If discovering and executing more applications becomes the bottleneck, consider ApplyLah’s beta workflow. Link acknowledgement and interview progress to the exact role and document version.

Which should you choose?

Choose GetInterviewed for free CV and letter preparation, self-sent applications, or optional guidance about career direction and interviews.

Choose ApplyLah 2.0 when discovery and supported application execution need to sit around one shortlist. Establish beta access before relying on it for an immediate deadline.

For ApplyLah, you can review your resume or join the 2.0 waitlist. Check the other product's linked access terms before committing time or money.

Sources & method

Job-count methodology, 6 November 2026: ApplyLah reports an average of 65k+ jobs per month, confirmed by its team on 6 November 2026. An average across months is different from one specific window: a separate read-only snapshot counted 41,471 Singapore-eligible postings from 7 October, 09:52 SGT to 6 November 2026, 09:52 SGT, excluding suppressed and known-dead records. That snapshot does not independently establish the monthly average or unique live-vacancy count. Competitor figures retain their published geography and definition: monthly averages, 30-day postings and current board totals are distinct measures.
