Job Summary This role oversees safe, efficient lifting operations across construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and supporting a zero-harm culture within the Health, Safety and Environment management framework. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on site to ensure safety and efficiency Execute lifting activities strictly according to approved lifting plans and safety procedures Conduct thorough pre-lift inspections and safety checks on lifting equipment and accessories before each operation Coordinate communication and actions with crane operators, riggers, signalmen, and site personnel during lifting activities Monitor work activities continuously to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations Identify potential hazards promptly and implement effective control measures to mitigate risks Lead toolbox meetings and deliver clear lifting instructions to workers to ensure understanding and compliance Intervene and stop any unsafe lifting operations immediately to prevent accidents Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all lifting activities for accountability and review Collaborate closely with site supervisors and project teams to facilitate smooth and coordinated operations Required competencies and certifications Valid WSQ / MOM-recognised Lifting Supervisor certification Valid Rigger and Signalman certification Valid Manage Work At Height (MWAH) certification Ability to read and interpret lifting plans and work instructions accurately Familiarity with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and lifting procedures in Singapore Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience in precast concrete or construction industry Additional Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)-related certifications Other Information N/A
