We are partnering with an established organisation within the industrial / automotive / marine solutions space to identify a Senior Business Development Executive to support regional growth across Asia. This role will be instrumental in driving sales performance, strengthening distributor networks, and expanding market presence. Key Responsibilities Drive the achievement of annual sales revenue and market share targets across assigned Asian markets, aligned with overall business objectives. Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with regional distributors, serving as the key point of contact within the territory. Monitor distributor performance using structured evaluation tools, identify capability gaps, and implement improvement initiatives. Conduct regular market visits to assess business performance, uncover growth opportunities, and support distributors in developing effective business strategies. Design and deliver sales training programmes to enhance distributor sales capabilities and effectiveness. Collaborate with distributors on branding, merchandising, retail execution, and participation in trade events to maximise market visibility. Develop a strong understanding of market dynamics and distributor business cycles to support accurate sales and demand forecasting. Prepare and present monthly and quarterly sales forecasts and performance updates to management. Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. service, supply chain, finance) to ensure smooth operations, timely product delivery, and effective issue resolution. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. 5–8 years of experience in regional sales, business development, or distributor management, including exposure to B2B environments. Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales targets. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across diverse regional markets. Interest in industrial, automotive, or marine-related industries will be advantageous. Experience in developing and managing distributor or dealer networks is preferred. Familiarity with tender processes or public sector engagement will be an added advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Willingness to travel regionally as required.
