Design Engineer (Civil & Structural)

Established A1 Main Contractor Attractive Salary + Performance Bonus Multiple Vacancies Our Client is a A1 Main Contractor handling Civil and Infrastructure projects. With increasing projects in the pipeline locally & overseas, they are seeking experienced and professional individuals to join their local team. Responsibilities Develop, review, and coordinate civil & structural designs for building and infrastructure projects. Design reinforced concrete and structural steel elements in accordance with project specifications and local regulations. Coordinate closely with architects, M&E engineers, consultants, and project teams throughout the design and construction phases. Review structural drawings, shop drawings, BIM models, and technical submissions to ensure accuracy and buildability. Support tender preparation, technical evaluations, value engineering, and design optimisation. Resolve design and site-related technical issues during construction. Liaise with consultants and authorities to obtain timely approvals and ensure regulatory compliance. Requirements Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil & structural design for building or infrastructure projects. Candidates from engineering consultancies or main contractors are welcome to apply. Experience in reinforced concrete, structural steel, precast, commercial, industrial, residential, or infrastructure projects will be advantageous. Familiarity with local authority submissions, Singapore building codes, and construction practices. Experience with structural analysis software (e.g. ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, MIDAS) and BIM/Revit will be an advantage. Strong coordination, technical, and problem-solving skills.
