Job Summary Join a confidential AI startup as a Backend Engineer (AI) to build and operate scalable backend services and inference pipelines that power AI interactions with high performance and reliability. Responsibilities Build and operate backend services that power AI-driven products to ensure reliability and scalability Design and implement inference pipelines, orchestration layers, and production APIs to support AI features Optimize system performance by improving latency, throughput, caching, batching, and streaming processes Monitor production systems using logging, alerting, and observability tools to maintain uptime and detect issues Debug and resolve issues in distributed systems to enhance system reliability at scale Collaborate closely with AI, Machine Learning, and Product teams to deliver production-ready AI features Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience with large language models (LLMs), AI inference, embeddings, or Generative AI applications Background in AI, Generative AI, AI Infrastructure, Cloud Platforms, Developer Platforms, SaaS, or Distributed Systems environments Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, SQL, and NoSQL databases Strong programming skills in Python and/or Node.js Other Information Work location: Remote Competitive compensation package Opportunity to build AI products used by real users at scale Ownership of critical backend systems end-to-end Solve complex engineering challenges related to performance, reliability, and scalability Join a high-performing engineering team How To Apply: Submit your application by emailing a detailed copy of your updated Resume in MS Word Format to Lin Jin Sen (EA Personnel Reg.
