Software Engineer (IoT Backend Engineer)

Role Scope Design and build backend systems that enable real-time integration between OT/IoT field devices and digital platforms. Focus on data ingestion, protocol translation, and scalable pipelines to support digital twin and analytics use cases. Key Responsibilities Develop backend services and middleware for OT/IoT data ingestion (OPC-UA, MODBUS, MQTT) Build and manage data pipelines to process and route real-time telemetry Integrate AI coding tools to enhance development, testing, and validation Create and maintain automated tests for integration and data processing components Collaborate with frontend, architects, and OT teams to define APIs and resolve issues Support CI/CD, deployments, and field-level troubleshooting Requirements Hands-on experience with industrial protocols (OPC-UA, MODBUS, MQTT) Strong backend development skills ( Python, Node.js, Go, or Java ) Experience with real-time data systems, message brokers, and event-driven architecture Familiarity with test automation, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker/K8s) Exposure to IoT/OT environments, system integration, and problem-solving in live environments, If interested, you can click on “Apply here” or write an e-mail to deeksha.agarwal@adecco.com with your updated resume.
