Counsellor (Public Sector - Up 5.5K)

The Opportunity Adecco is partnering with a public sector organization to support mental health and counselling initiatives. We are looking for a Counsellor to provide individual and group counselling, support supervisors in managing team well-being, and deliver educational programmes on mental health. The Talent Postgraduate degree in Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology (required). Experience in mental health and substance abuse counselling , both in individual and group settings. Strong interpersonal, communication, and advisory skills . Basic proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office applications. Preferably a member of relevant professional bodies such as Singapore Association of Social Workers, Singapore Association for Counselling, or Singapore Psychological Society . Job Description Provide face-to-face and group counselling for personnel, supporting emotional and mental well-being. Offer consultation and guidance to supervisors on managing mental health within teams . Collaborate with medical officers, psychiatrists, and psychologists to enhance mental health initiatives. Perform counselling hotline duty (2 × 24-hour shifts per month). Conduct educational sessions and workshops to promote mental health awareness and skills.
