Job Responsibilities Develop new applications and market opportunities for SF and RC/PSA solutions within the Elkem Silicones portfolio. Collaborate with the Regional Market Manager (RMM) to define SF and RC/PSA market strategies and assess emerging technology trends over a five‑year horizon. Drive business growth through market development initiatives and technology innovation, working closely with customers’ R&D teams and internal technical stakeholders to develop solutions that meet evolving market needs. Prepare annual budget proposals by country and region, in alignment with regional and global business objectives, for review and approval by the Regional Market Manager and Global Business Leadership. Deliver agreed annual targets, including turnover and contribution margin (ICM), in accordance with approved budgets. Partner with the RMM to manage quotations for new projects and applications, ensuring cost alignment and adherence to segment ICM targets. Work with communications and marketing teams to develop sales and promotion tools, including brochures, seminars, and trade show initiatives. Lead cross‑functional collaboration with sales, technical service (TS), and R&D teams to define requirements for new product development. Develop new product sales tools, including benchmarking analysis, in collaboration with technical teams. Provide strategic direction and prioritisation guidance to regional sales teams for business development activities. Support and guide regional sales teams in identifying new opportunities and accelerating the commercialisation of existing opportunities. Lead engagement with global SF and RC/PSA accounts across the Asia‑Pacific region, coordinating global RFQs in collaboration with Global Account Managers, Regional Market Managers, and Global Business Managers. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline ; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage. More than 8 years of relevant professional experience in business development, market development, or technical‑commercial roles within the SF and RC/PSA domain; experience in the silicone industry is an advantage. Experience working in matrix and multicultural organisational environments . Experience managing or supporting global or regional key accounts related to SF and RC/PSA products. Strong working proficiency in English for professional communication. Solid technical understanding of SF and RC/PSA products and applications. Knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to chemical or materials markets; exposure to Asia‑Pacific regulatory environments is an advantage. Demonstrated project management capabilities and ability to work across functions and regions.
