Your Key Responsibilities Build the cargo book within the Pacific region (spot and forward) and secure tonnage to cover positions. To maintain and develop relationships with clients and other stakeholders. To evaluate various opportunities & negotiate and finalise charter parties Manage risk exposure via FFA. Work closely with Operations department to ensure smooth performance of voyages Study/understand new trades and ports. Generate and submit performance reports and other assigned reports in a timely and accurate manner. The Ideal Candidate has: University degree in a relevant discipline. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in an Operating firm. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of supramax trades. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Proactivity, ability to be self-reliant and take ownership. Ability to foster relationships. Strong written and oral communication skills.
