About this role

The Opportunity Employee Communications is a fast‑paced, distributed team of communicators who amplify the narrative and vision of Adobe's business, purpose and award‑winning employee experience – and who are passionate about storytelling through the lens of our employees. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Executive & Employee Communications – JAPAC to lead executive and employee communications across one of Adobe's most diverse and strategically important regions. This role is laser‑focused on shaping and delivering a cohesive communications strategy that helps employees connect their work to Adobe's purpose, priorities and products – fostering belonging, pride and alignment at scale. While based in Singapore, this role carries accountability across Adobe's full JAPAC footprint – spanning markets as distinct as Japan, Australia, India, Korea, and Southeast Asia – and demands lived, multi-market experience. This is a highly visible leadership role operating at the intersection of strategy and executive influence, requiring proven cultural fluency to translate global intent into credible, high‑impact engagement across this diverse footprint. A bit more about you You are a seasoned employee and executive communications leader with a strong point of view and a track record of translating global strategy into locally resonant, culturally appropriate communications across diverse markets. In this role, you will partner closely with JAPAC executive leadership, including the Regional President, as well as the Global Employee Brand & Communciations team, to develop integrated executive and employee communications strategies, programs, and operating rhythms. You bring first‑hand experience working across JAPAC and understand that this region demands more than localisation – it requires deep cultural fluency, trusted relationships and the ability to anticipate risk, nuance and impact across very different employee contexts. At a pivotal moment in Adobe’s growth and evolution, this role offers a unique opportunity to help shape the next chapter of Adobe’s culture in JAPAC – bringing our values to life in ways that are meaningful, credible and locally grounded. What you'll do Executive communications strategy: Lead and execute executive communications for the JAPAC President and senior leaders, shaping clear, consistent narratives across channels, events, change, and crisis moments in partnership with Legal, Security and Employee Experience. Employee communications strategy: Own the vision, strategy and delivery of employee communications across JAPAC, translating global priorities into regionally coherent, locally meaningful programs with an always‑on communications rhythm. Regional nuance: Provide strategic oversight of Japan employee communications as a core part of the JAPAC remit, ensuring culturally appropriate localisation, sequencing and leadership engagement aligned to regional narratives. Stakeholder partnership & influence: Serve as a trusted communications advisor to JAPAC leaders and cross‑functional partners, influencing outcomes across a complex, matrixed organisation without direct authority. Thought leadership & storytelling: Advance Adobe’s corporate narrative across the region, elevating employee storytelling from transactional updates to meaningful, purpose‑led communications that connect strategy to impact. Channels & experiences: Oversee the development of high‑quality, engaging internal communications across digital, social, live and hybrid formats, continuously evolving channels to maximise reach and relevance. Practices & capability building: Establish best‑in‑class communications practices and governance across JAPAC, enabling regional and local teams through clear frameworks, toolkits and scalable operating models. What you need to succeed Executive presence with a proven ability to influence senior leaders and cross‑functional partners across cultures and geographies. Demonstrated experience leading employee and executive communications across multiple JAPAC markets, including direct experience working with Japan. Strong ability to navigate multi‑jurisdictional complexity, including sensitive topics such as compensation, benefits, employee relations, and change. Proven capability to move seamlessly between strategy and hands‑on execution. Experience leading or advising on crisis and rapid‑response communications. Deep understanding of both traditional and emerging internal communications channels. E…
