Production Support Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing post-sales support services to customers, which includes enabling production ramp-up, yield improvement, production issues resolution and production solution implementation. As a member of the customer-facing team, the candidate will work closely with Account Managers, Service Sales and the System Application teams to deliver account priorities and ensure customer satisfaction. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Provide post-sales service support for Advantest Automated Test Equipment (ATE). Support customers in resolving production correlation/low yield and program related issues. Ensure timely production ramp-up and manage the resolution of production issues. Support ATE integration into customer’s production environment. Provide technical feedback to the factory to drive product improvements. Identify opportunities for production solution business in collaboration with Service Sales team. Ensure service contract deliverables are met. Job Requirements: Minimum Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 4 to 6 years of working experience in the semiconductor manufacturing and test operations. Good knowledge of digital/mixed signal test methodologies. Proficient in C++, Java and script programming. Knowledge of Advantest V93000 software and debugging tools will be an added advantage. Knowledge in factory automation and production solutions will be an added advantage. Some experience in project management and customer-facing support management preferred. Strong problem solver with good technical capabilities and good communication skills, self-motivated, customer focused and result oriented. Occasional travel required, sometimes on short notice.
