Production Support (Unix SQL Oracle)

Responsibilities Provide daily application and production support for International Wealth Management (IWM) systems. Provide support in rotational shifts and participate in on-call support as required. Handle incident, problem, and change management activities. Monitor production systems to ensure high availability and performance. Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and provide workarounds or permanent resolutions. Liaise with business users, infrastructure teams, development teams, and vendors to resolve production incidents. Coordinate system upgrades, release management, and change implementations. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments for BAU changes and projects. Track production issues, conduct incident post-mortems, and implement preventive measures. Collaborate with regional IT teams to ensure smooth upstream and downstream processing. Participate in business continuity planning, disaster recovery exercises, and regional/global IT projects. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in Application Support or Production Support within the banking or financial services domain. Experience supporting Wealth Management, Order Management Systems (OMS), or Execution Management Systems (EMS). Strong hands-on experience with UNIX, SQL (Oracle/MS SQL), Oracle 19c, and Windows operating systems. Experience with UNIX shell scripting, automation, and job scheduling tools such as Autosys. Hands-on experience with Avaloq, MarginMan, or AWS is preferred. Knowledge of ITIL processes, FIX Protocol, cloud operations, microservices, Python, or Perl is an advantage. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Self-motivated, adaptable, and a reliable team player. Preferred certifications include Avaloq Certification and ITIL v3 or equivalent.
