Project Engineer (Software)

Job Responsibilities Software Development and Design: · Negotiate and finalise customer requirements · Assess the customer requirements and specifications · Prepare software technical and commercial proposals · Review Functional Requirement Document (FRD) and Software Design Document (SDD) Project and Process Management · Act as the primary interface to internal cross-functional teams and to external stakeholders · Utilise project management methodologies to create a project schedule for software development projects · Manage end-to-end Project Life Cycle with cross-functional teams, including tracking and evaluation of project performance · Ensure the project’s compliance with agreed customer performance and specification requirements, as well as applicable industry practices · Ensure all project information is appropriately documented, shared with relevant team members, and secured. Testing and Validation · Work closely with team leaders and engineers to define test strategy and scenarios · Review all test documentation to ensure completeness, correctness and schedule alignment Training and Exchange of Knowledge · Conduct tool operation training for Field Service, Design Quality teams and customers as needed Job Requirements · Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related disciplines · Excellent communication and teamwork skills · Familiar with software development and process management methodologies · Familiar with PLC, C# and other programming languages · Good understanding of software quality assurance and validation methodologies · Good problem-solving and analytical skills · Able to lead cross-functional teams to deliver results and drive continuous improvement
