Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Thermal Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on developing and implementing cutting-edge thermal test solutions for semiconductor devices. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards for quality, performance, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop advanced thermal test solutions for semiconductor devices across various test insertions or markets Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and performance. Analyze and interpret test data to drive continuous improvements in test methodologies. Support product validation, characterization, and qualification activities. Provide technical mentorship to other engineers and collaborate in cross-functional problem-solving teams. Work directly with customers and channel partners to optimize test solutions and ensure successful product deployment. Interface with internal operations teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of test platforms. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, or related discipline. Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in semiconductor industry, with a focus on thermal test solutions. Solid understanding of thermal dynamics, semiconductor device behavior, and AI/HPC test challenges. Experience with semiconductor test platforms, data analysis tools, and test development processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Proficiency in engineering and analysis software, including but not limited to: SolidWorks FlowTherm or similar thermal simulation tools MATLAB Simulink JMP or similar data analysis/statistical tools Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with thermal simulation and modeling software. Familiarity with thermal platform or related advanced thermal technologies. Experience interfacing with OSATs, fabless companies, and IDMs. Knowledge of manufacturing transfer processes and high-volume production test implementation.
