About Agora Playschool & Preschool Agora Playschool is an enrichment programme for children aged 6 months to 3 years old that can beadult accompanied. It offers a complete sensory and educational experience foryoung children that prepares them for Preschool. Our teachers engage on a deep level with the children in order to discover their likes and dislikes, allowing them to display their true characters through imagination and exploration. Agora Preschool places an emphasis on providing a genuinely personalised experience for each child. Ourinnovative and creative teachers, along with differentiated and tiered lessons,offer an opportunity that challenges each individual to reach their full potential. During a unique observation period, our teachers are given the timeto comprehend the needs of their students and gain insights from parents, enabling us to tailor an experience that thoroughly prepares each child for their next steps in education. The Role At Agora, we believe childhood should feel joyful, connected and full of discovery. Our Playschool programmes are often a child’s very first experience of learning beyond home, and we take that responsibility seriously. We are looking for a Playschool Facilitator who brings energy, warmth and intention into every session. This isa highly visible, front-facing role, working closely with both children andparents, creating experiences that feel magical, purposeful and truly memorable. This is not a traditional“weekend job.” It is an opportunity to be part of something growing, to helpshape how families experience early years education in a more connected,thoughtful way. Your Schedule 22 hours per week across the following sessions: • Saturday & Sunday mornings — Weekend Wonders programme • Monday afternoons — Playschool Satellite Programme,Sentosa (transport provided) • Tuesday mornings — Playschool Satellite Programme,Interlace (transport provided) What You’ll Be Doing • Facilitate engaging, exploratory-based sessions forchildren aged 6 months to 3 years old • Create a warm, welcoming environment where children and parents feel comfortable, confident and excited to participate • Deliver thoughtfully prepared activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, communication and independence • Set up and reset high-quality learning stations, ensuring each session feels fresh, purposeful and well-resourced • Observe children closely and respond in the moment, adapting experiences to suit different needs, personalities and developmental stages • Build strong relationships with families, acting as a trusted and approachable point of contact during sessions • Support gentle transitions for children who may be new to group settings • Maintain high standards of safety, organisation and hygiene across all locations • Work collaboratively with the Agora team to reflect on sessions and continuously improve programme quality What Makes This Role Different • You will work across multiple locations, representingAgora within different communities • You will play a key role in first impressions — many ofthese families are experiencing Agora for the first time • You will facilitate sessions where parents (and helpers) are present, requiring confidence, professionalism and stronginterpersonal skills • Every session is an opportunity to build our community and grow enrolment organically through experience What We’re Looking For • A genuine love for working with young children (and confidence engaging with parents) • A naturally warm, energetic presence — someone who can“hold” a room with ease • Strong communication skills and the ability to build quick, trusting relationships • A proactive, hands-on approach — you see what needs tobe done and do it • Creative, adaptable and responsive in the moment • Reliable and committed, especially given the importance of weekend delivery • A team player who takes pride in representing Agora to a high standard Qualifications • E…
