About Agora Colearning Agora Colearning is a one-stop education hub providing educational programmes for children aged 6 months to 16 years. We offer our own Student Care and Early Years programmes, as well as enrichment and tuition activities from best-in-class education providers. We help students learn, and develop life skills and competencies, whilst nurturing their physical health and well-being. Role We are looking for an experienced Centre Attendant (Cook and cleaner) with a genuine interest in caring for children and upkeeping the safety and hygiene standards of the children's learning environment. Responsibilities: Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the centre with dailycleaning. Prepare daily breakfast and tea breaks according to the children’s menu, following instructions from the Centre Principal and Customer Service Ambassador. Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the centre’s menu and reporting manager’s instructions, ensuring all food preparation is carried out in strict compliance with hygiene standards and safety regulations as required by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) and the Singapore Food Agency (SFA). Wash, disinfect, and sanitize all eating cutlery, cooking utensils, kitchen cabinets, fridge,sinks, countertops, and stove after use. Clean and wash centre materials on a weekly basis. Collect kitchen waste and dispose of it properly at designated disposal areas. Portion, arrange, garnish, and serve food to various classes/levels according to the scheduled meal times (e.g., breakfast, lunch, tea breaks). Conduct stock takes and estimate food consumption to ensure adequate supply and avoid expired food; coordinate purchases with the reporting manager considering costs and special events (e.g., National Day, Year-end party). Follow centre guidelines when requisitioning, purchasing supplies, or procuring food from wet markets or supermarkets. Clean and sanitize the kitchen daily after cooking by removing grease, stains, dirt, smoke,fumes, and odors. Assist with preparation of children’s milk before nap time when instructed by the centre supervisor. Be flexible to perform other tasks as assigned throughout employment. Participate in marketing activities outside the centre as designated by the centre supervisor. Tasks may also change throughout an employee's employment.
