About the Role Our client, Thales, is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to support the maintenance and operation of a mission-critical Command & Control (C2) system deployed for a government agency in Singapore. As part of a dedicated engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring system reliability, availability, performance, and security. This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, high-availability infrastructure in a secure and operationally critical environment. Key Responsibilities System Maintenance & Support Perform corrective maintenance activities to diagnose, troubleshoot, and restore hardware and infrastructure components. Support mission-critical systems and ensure compliance with stringent SLA requirements. Monitor and maintain system availability, reliability, MTBF, MTTR, and downtime records. Preventive Maintenance Execute scheduled preventive maintenance in accordance with approved procedures and maintenance plans. Conduct inspections, servicing, calibration checks, and configuration verification. Prepare and submit maintenance reports upon completion of activities. Testing & Validation Support software deployment and patching activities through system and integration testing. Verify system configurations before production deployment.
