About this role

The Manager,Marine Technical Operations is a broad, hands-on management role created to strengthen Albion's daily operating discipline and develop a potential future leader of the Group. The role will carry assigned operational responsibilities, measurable business outcomes, and direct involvement in client, project, financial, and people matters. The person will work closely with the President and regional leaders to coordinate Group operations, remove bottlenecks, improve accountability and help convert Albion's technical capability into profitable and repeatable revenue. Scope and authority will expandonly after the individual demonstrates sound judgment, integrity, commercialresults, technical credibility and the ability to lead internationally. Core Accountabilities A. Group operating leadership · Coordinate the day-to-day operating rhythm across Albion entities, commercial teams, engineering disciplines, project managers, service personnel, procurement, finance and HR. · Prepare and chair assigned weekly and monthly operating reviews, with clear decisions, owners, deadlines and follow-up. · Translate Group priorities into practical work plans, management dashboards and accountable execution. · Identify operational bottlenecks, duplicated effort, uncontrolled cost and owner-dependentdecisions; implement practical corrective actions. · Support regional managers while maintaining clear Group standards, escalation routes and decision discipline. B. Commercial and business development · Maintain active engagement with shipowners, ship managers, shipyards, OEMs, government clients and strategic partners. · Manage assigned client accounts and opportunities from first contact through qualification, proposal, negotiation, award and handover to execution. · Lead or coordinate technically sound and commercially disciplined proposals, including scope definition,exclusions, pricing, risk review and contribution expectations. · Strengthen D365/CRM pipelinediscipline, follow-up and forecasting; improve RFQ-to-proposal and RFQ-to-orderconversion. · Develop repeatable service lines, key-account plans and recurring revenue rather than relying only onone-off opportunities. C. Technical and project operations · Participate in projectkick-offs, design and technical reviews, risk assessments, change-control decisions and client progress meetings. · Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and service resources across locations to deliver projects safely,on time and within approved scope and margin. · Ensure that technical concerns,class/flag requirements, procurement interfaces, yard responsibilities and commissioning obligations are identified before commitments are made. · Monitor project hours,schedule, deliverables, variation orders, quality, client satisfaction andclose-out. D. Financial and commercial control · Review project and entity performance with finance, including revenue, gross margin, contribution,utilization, cash flow, invoicing and overdue receivables. · Support annual budgets, rolling forecasts, resource plans and business cases for new services or investments. · Ensure commercial decisions reflect contract risk, payment terms, warranty exposure, foreign exchange,intercompany allocations and collection probability. · Drive timely invoicing and support collection of accounts by resolving operational and commercial obstacles. · Protect profitability through scope discipline, change management, resource planning and early escalation of risk. E. People, HR and leadership development · Support workforce planning,selection, onboarding, objectives, performance reviews and development of key personnel. · Build trust with employees across cultures and locations while maintaining clear expectations and accountability. · Develop capable second-lineleaders and reduce dependency on any one individual, including the Founder. · Address performance or conduct issues promptly in coordination with HR and the relevant entity management. · Demonstrate Albion values through integrity, sound judgment, respectful communication and ownership of results. F. Governance, systems and risk · Ensure adherence to approved delegations, contract-review requirements, quality procedures, health and safety obligations, document control and information-security practices. · Improve practical use of D365, project controls, financial reporting, utilization records and management information. · Maintain appropriate confidentiality and protect Albion…
