Sales Manager (Design & Build)

Our client is a well-established design and build specialist with a strong reputation for delivering creative, high-quality turnkey solutions across exhibitions, events, retail environments, experiential activations, and interior fit-out projects. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive business development and play a key role in shaping the company's continued success. Responsibilities: Developing new business opportunities across exhibitions, events, retail fit-out, experiential marketing, and related industries. Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and strategic partners. Managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, proposal development, presentations, negotiations, and contract closure. Preparing competitive proposals and collaborating with internal design and project teams to deliver tailored client solutions. Translating client requirements into clear project briefs to ensure successful project delivery. Managing RFQs, tenders, and client enquiries in a timely and strategic manner. Leading, mentoring, and developing the sales team to achieve individual and team revenue targets. Monitoring sales performance, pipeline health, forecasting, and reporting to senior management. Representing the business at networking events, industry exhibitions, and client meetings. Driving continuous improvement of sales processes, CRM utilisation, and reporting systems. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline. At least 3 years of business development experience, ideally within the design & build, exhibitions, events, retail fit-out, or brand activation industry. Demonstrated success in securing high-value projects and consistently achieving sales targets. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop strategic sales plans. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Good understanding of project delivery, costing, budgeting, and margin optimisation. Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of design development, fabrication, and production processes is highly desirable.
