Lecturer (Communications)

This role is well-suited to practitioners from the industry — whether in film production, journalism, broadcasting, or digital media — who are ready to bring real-world expertise into the classroom. What You'll Do Plan and deliver engaging lessons across lectures, tutorials, and asynchronous formats Design and assess coursework and examinations within your areas of specialism Support students with academic progress, feedback, and career guidance Contribute to curriculum review and programme development to keep content industry-relevant Integrate digital and online learning tools Take on module or programme leadership responsibilities over time Participate in school events including student recruitment and marketing activities Who We're Looking For Degree or Master's in a relevant Media/Communications discipline (e.g. film, journalism, mass communications) Hands-on industry experience in film production, journalism, or related media fields Some teaching or training experience; certificate or diploma-level is sufficient Familiar with digital tools, emerging media technologies, and online learning environments Strong communicator with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse student body Interested applicants please send your resume in MS Word format and attention it to Rachel Yeo (R22104385).
