About the role Internship Duration: 6 months (commencing July 2026) The E-Commerce Content Intern is responsible for driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and online sales through live streaming, content creation, and e-commerce operations support. The role serves as a brand ambassador by hosting engaging live sessions on Shopee and TikTok, creating compelling short-form content, supporting affiliate and product seeding initiatives, and analysing competitor activities to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Additionally, the role provides operational support to ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day e-commerce activities and campaigns. Key Responsibilities Live Streaming (40%) Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned brands and products, and represent the brand professionally through live streaming on Shopee and TikTok. Host engaging live streaming sessions, effectively showcasing products, promotional mechanics, and key selling points to maximise customer engagement and sales. Interact with viewers by addressing product enquiries, skincare concerns, and purchase-related questions in a timely and engaging manner. Maintain a confident, energetic, and engaging on-screen presence throughout each session. Monitor competitors' live streaming strategies and identify best practices and opportunities for improvement. Submit a monthly competitor analysis report with actionable insights. Content Creation (40%) Create short-form video content using CapCut and other relevant editing tools, leveraging live stream recordings and original creative ideas. Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and obtain approval from the E-Commerce Director and relevant brand team before publication. Monitor competitors' content strategies and trends, identifying opportunities to enhance brand performance. Submit a monthly competitor content analysis report with recommendations. E-Commerce Operations Support (20%) Proactively identify and engage potential affiliates through Shopee and TikTok to build and develop brand collaboration opportunities. Support product seeding activities, including product preparation, packing, and the development of content guidelines for affiliates. Provide operational support for day-to-day e-commerce activities and assist with other ad hoc tasks as assigned. Job Requirements Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, E-Commerce, or a related discipline. At least 1 year of experience in live streaming, social media, e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related field. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply. Comfortable hosting live streams on platforms such as Shopee Live and TikTok Live, with a confident and engaging on-camera presence. Strong interest in beauty, skincare, and e-commerce trends. Proficient in content creation and video editing using CapCut or similar editing software. Good understanding of social media platforms, digital content, and consumer engagement strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with online audiences. Proactive, creative, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, or outside regular office hours when required for live streaming schedules.
