Engineer (Mechanical Design)

Responsibilities: Product design of communication products Coordinate pilot production runs to validate design and manufacturing feasibility Coordinate new product transfer to production Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project teams) to achieve project objectives Sourcing of new materials, components and parts in line with design specifications Requirements: Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry Proficient in 3D modelling and CAD software, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD Experience in product design and development Experience in mechanical-related issues in ODM/OEM products Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining and metal casting Good understanding of GD&T for 2D dimensioning Good knowledge of product design and metrology
