Business Analyst

We're looking for a Business Analyst to join our project team and play a key role in maintaining system stability while driving continuous improvement through enhancements. You'll work closely with clients, development teams, and cross-functional partners to deliver quality solutions that meet business needs. You'll be a trusted partner to our clients, ensuring their systems run smoothly while helping them evolve and improve. Your work will directly impact service quality, user satisfaction and the success of our project delivery. Responsibilities: Operations &Production Support ü Provide maintenance and production support for assigned systems, including after-office hours support during peak periods ü Manage and track operational and production tasks to ensure timely delivery ü Respond to user queries and change requests promptly and professionally ü Collaborate with local, offshore, and facility management teams to resolve issues ü Perform system patches and upgrades as required ü Analyse, classify, and perform impact assessments on issues, queries and user requests ü Lead root cause investigations and implement workarounds or fixes ü Track all requests and issues through to closure, ensuring adherence to SLAs ü Validate that fixes are thoroughly tested before production rollout ü Maintain accurate configuration management records (hardware, software, documentation, etc) ü Prepare documentation and support other project activities as needed Enhancement &Development Activities ü Work with clients, team members, and developers throughout the full enhancement lifecycle: requirement gathering, development, SIT, UAT preparation and support, implementation, and documentation ü Identify and analyse stakeholders; prepare and lead requirement gathering sessions ü Gather, analyse, and formalise user business processes and requirements ü Document functional and non-functional specifications ü Create screen mockups and prototypes to validate requirements and scope ü Analyse integration points between modules and external systems ü Maintain requirement traceability; identify out-of-scope items and escalate scope creep ü Review, identify, and resolve conflicting, incomplete, or inaccurate requirements ü Seek timely stakeholder approval and participate in scope negotiations ü Develop technical design specifications and translate them into process/program specifications ü Prepare trainingmaterials, system manuals, and user guides ü Providepost-implementation support to ensure smooth adoption Requirements Experience &Knowledge ü Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a similar capacity ü Strong understanding of SDLC and ITIL frameworks ü Basic knowledge of Java and Unix commands; Candidates with good Java knowledge will have an added advantage ü Strong proficiency in SQL ü Familiarity with interfaces and batch jobs Skills & Attributes ü Fast learner with the ability to quickly grasp new business domains ü Excellent communication skills with a client-focused mindset ü Strong presentation, persuasive and negotiation abilities ü Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills ü Team player who can also work independently ü Committed to following established procedures and processes ü Flexible and willing to work extended hours during production exercises or critical project phases ü Innovative mindset with the ability to leverage AI tools to streamline routine tasks and testing Interested candidates may send their CV to MAC (Reg No. R1221300) atanc1@anchorsearchgroup.com.
