Job Description Industry/ Organization Type: Education & Training Institution Position Title: Training Centre Manager Working Location: Lavender Working Hours: 5 Days, Monday – Friday (9am – 6pm) Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus Duration: Permanent Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and direction for the academy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and growth targets. Lead, coach, and develop academic, training, sales, and administrative teams to foster a high-performance and accountable culture. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the training centre, ensuring operational excellence and a positive learner experience from enrolment through graduation. Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements, including CPE, EduTrust, SSG, WSQ, student contract administration, and related quality standards. Manage course planning, scheduling, trainer deployment, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency and training delivery. Establish and maintain a robust quality assurance framework, including trainer performance evaluations, student feedback mechanisms, and continuous improvement initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, accreditation bodies, corporate clients, and industry stakeholders. Lead enrolment growth initiatives by overseeing sales performance, monitoring pipeline and conversion metrics, and driving achievement of enrolment targets. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective B2C and B2B recruitment strategies, including corporate partnership opportunities. Promote and leverage SkillsFuture funding schemes, SSG grants, and SkillsFuture Credit as part of the academy's learner acquisition and value proposition strategy. Monitor and manage the centre's financial performance, including revenue, expenditure, budgeting, forecasting, and overall P&L accountability. Provide academic oversight by working closely with the Academic and Examination Board to ensure curriculum relevance, assessment integrity, educator approvals, and compliance with SSG and CPE standards across the WSQ course portfolio. Minimum 5 years of experience within a training centre, Private Education Institution (PEI), adult learning, or continuing education environment. At least 3 years of leadership experience with responsibility for operations, team management, and financial or P&L performance. Strong hands-on knowledge of Singapore's private education regulatory landscape, including CPE, EduTrust, SSG, WSQ frameworks, and SkillsFuture funding schemes. Proven track record of achieving enrolment, revenue, operational, or business growth targets. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with regulators, corporate partners, students, and internal teams.
