Job Description Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer (Electrical Power Distribution, Control and Automation Systems) Position Title: QA Engineer / Assistant QA Engineer Working Location: Tuas Crescent (Transportation Provided) Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.15am – 5.45pm Salary Package: Basic + AWS + Variable Bonus Duration: Permanent Key Responsibilities Inspect incoming and outgoing parts according to specifications and procedures. Accurately record and manage quality data. Identify and report quality issues to management for corrective action. Segregate non-conforming products to avoid mix-ups before final decisions are made. Approve or reject parts based on quality standards. Conduct routine tests and checks on switchboards manufactured in-house. Test and commission switchboards on-site or on vessels, ensuring customer satisfaction and handling any quality complaints or warranty issues. Manage official tests requiring the presence of surveyors, consultants, or customers. Assist the QA Manager in achieving quality goals and responsibilities. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the QA Department. Strictly follow safety protocols for all activities. Ensure inspection tools are calibrated and functional. Proactively prevent product non-conformity. Recommend, implement, and check the effectiveness of solutions for identified problems. Oversee the resolution process for non-conforming products. Adhere to Quality Management System procedures to maintain compliance and control. Carry out other tasks as directed by supervisors. APPLY NOW!!! Minimum ITE/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. At least 1 year of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in electrical or switchboard manufacturing. Ability to interpret technical documents and adherence to safety and quality standards.
