Job Description Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing Position Title: Grinding Machinist Working Location: Ubi Working Hours: 6 days (Mon – Sat, 8.00am – 4.00pm) Salary Package: Basic salary + Housing Allowance + Fixed allowance + OT + Performance bonus (Quarterly) Duration: Permanent Role Key Responsibilities Set up and operate grinding and surface grinding machines. Perform milling and grinding for mold-making and plastic injection inserts. Read and interpret engineering drawings. Use surface grinding machines to meet high-precision specifications. Ensure manufacturing tasks meet the schedule and inspect finished pieces before the next process. Conduct preventive maintenance on machines. Inspect workpieces for quality. Improve machining efficiency to boost productivity and reduce costs. Achieve grinding precision up to 0.005mm. Perform other duties as assigned. Follow safety rules and maintain a tidy work area. Experience in precision engineering and interpreting technical drawings. Tool and die making experience is a plus. Able to work extended hours if needed.
