Job Description Industry/ Organization Type: Custom Die-cut Components Manufacturer Position Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer Working Location: Serangoon North Working Hours: 5 days (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM) Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus Duration: Permanent Role Key Responsibilities Review customer RFQs, recommend suitable manufacturing processes, and prepare cost estimates including routing, tooling, material usage, cycle time, and BOM. Design die-cut tooling using AutoCAD 2D and plan production layouts and process flow for new products. Coordinate prototype builds, first article inspections, production validation, engineering changes, and product transfers. Prepare and maintain engineering documents, including process flow, work instructions, control plans, BOMs, ECNs, drawings, and specifications. Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, yield, cost, cycle time, and efficiency. Investigate production issues, support troubleshooting, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Monitor process capability, tooling maintenance, equipment qualification, and preventive maintenance activities. Lead continuous improvement and root cause analysis using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, Lean, or Six Sigma. Provide daily engineering support and train production staff on new products, processes, and work instructions. Work with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Production, Quality, Planning, and suppliers on production, audit, and technical matters. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned. APPLY NOW!!! Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related technical field. At least 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably with production and NPI support. Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and Microsoft Office. Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling design, BOMs, ECNs, control plans, work instructions, process flow, and ERP systems. Experience in precision die-cutting, flexible material converting, flat-bed or rotary die-cutting, adhesives, foams, films, tapes, thermal materials, EMI shielding, insulation materials, or laser cutting will be advantageous. ISO 9001, ISO 13485, medical device manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma experience will be advantageous. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, planning, and coordination skills. Hands-on, responsible, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
