Job Description Industry/ Organization Type: Precision Manufacturing Position Title: Assistant Mechanical Engineer Working Location: Commonwealth Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 6.00pm) Salary Package: Basic salary up to $3,300 + Performance Bonus Duration: Permanent Role Key Responsibilities Help in creating mechanical system designs, including calculations, selecting components, and making drawings. Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications for mechanical parts and systems. Review and verify design calculations for accuracy. Monitor project progress according to schedule and budget. Maintain project documentation, including technical reports and meeting notes. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Assist with the on-site installation and setup of mechanical systems. Conduct quality checks on installed equipment and materials. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during construction. Prepare purchase orders for mechanical components and equipment. Evaluate vendor proposals and source materials based on specifications. Research new technologies and materials relevant to mechanical engineering projects.
